Inspired.

It’s how I always feel after attending the annual IPI Conference & Expo. I return feeling enthusiastic and recharged. As a self-proclaimed parking geek, there’s always something magical about getting together with more than 3,000 of my closest friends.

This year’s IPI Conference was a rewarding combination of education sessions, exploring the latest services and technologies our industry offers, topped off with ample opportunities to spend time with colleagues who have become lifelong friends. If you know me, it probably won’t surprise you to hear that the education sessions and Shoptalks are my favorite. These sessions have provided me with a broader view of our industry–where we’ve been and where we’re going. I gain new knowledge and perspectives that help me to grow professionally.

The IPI Conference & Expo has helped me to develop a network of peers I feel comfortable to call upon when facing professional challenges. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn so much from others in our industry. The insights I’ve gained during the last 30 years is invaluable. At the same time, I’d like to believe that I’ve been able to provide a few insights and some helpful feedback to other parking professionals.

And yes, I’ll admit it–I’m already counting the days until next year’s Conference in Anaheim. So, what are the Conference highlights for you? Networking? Education? Expo? Social events? Let’s hear it–in comments here or on the Forum.
