Member News: Kiwi.com Selects ParkCloud for Parking Services
January 16, 2017
Online travel agency Kiwi.com has chosen ParkCloud to provide its customers with parking reservation services.
Kiwi.com is an online travel agency with a unique flight search algorithm, which allows customers to combine flights from airlines who do not usually collaborate onto a single itinerary, resulting in significant savings. Collecting real-time flight data from countless airlines and flight data aggregators, Kiwi.com store the information in a high-end database, enabling the customer to get the best possible deal.
Partnering with ParkCloud, Kiwi.com can now also offer customers ParkCloud’s extensive network of global car parks. As well as redeveloping its database for flight information, it is also putting more emphasis on the ancillaries it offers to customers.
Adding parking alongside other online pre-booking ancillaries, such as car hire and hotel booking, expands Kiwi.com’s position in the digital travel market. This allows it to be more than just a place for its passengers to book one part of the journey, but a destination for them to gain peace of mind they have booked every aspect before travelling. ParkCloud and Kiwi.com are collaborating through a white label (kiwi.parkcloud.com) with specific touch points in place across the website for parking. Featured in spaces such as confirmation and pre-departure emails and the ‘Manage my booking’ section alongside other ancillaries, customers are gently reminded of parts of their journey they might otherwise overlook. The white label website is available in over 10 languages, correlating with the top markets for Kiwi.com and creating a more tailored experience for the customer.
ParkCloud, founded in 2008, lets drivers book a parking space in advance, in the same way as it’s possible to do with hotel rooms, restaurant tables… and even a coffee these days.
When travelling, parking is usually the last thing on anybody’s mind, but research shows that as much as twenty minutes is wasted when searching for a parking space. ParkCloud’s award-winning service aims to solve that problem by letting customers make a parking booking, whether they are getting on a plane, taking a cruise, catching a train, or visiting a city or event. In 40 countries and counting!
