Florida Parking Association
The University of Central Florida hosted Florida Parking Association's 3rd Annual Educational Seminar at the Fairwinds Alumni Center. UCF Parking & Transportation had ambassadors strategically located to provide guidance for parking, directions, and assistance during the seminar. Shuttles from local hotels to the seminar for overnight attendees, and a guided bus tour of the UCF Campus were added bonuses provided by the university. FPA appreciates the university's contribution to the success of this seminar!
The annual one-day Educational Seminar, provided at no charge to members, featured presentations from industry experts:
Event Management - Case Studies of planning, move-in, way-finding, customer service, cash/on-line pay and multi-day events presented by Sean Samuels, Parking Facilities Manager for the City of West Palm Beach.
Parking Enforcement - Planning, evaluation & effective implementation of program; evolvement of programs; and how to get to 'ambassadorial' approach presented by Roamy Valera, VP of SP Plus Municipal Services for Standard Parking.
