Florida Parking Association has been very busy since August putting our 31st Annual Conference together! Whew……the race is on! And, the winners are going to be at the Daytona Beach Hilton Resort, December 1 - 3, participating in the grand event!
Starting with the golf tournament at the LPGA International course and the mini-golf tournament at the Lagoon on Wednesday morning, it is non-stop learning & networking with parking professionals until the flags drop and the race is over on Friday,
Parking professionals will present sessions on new technology, auditing techniques, customer service, the evolution of the car, diverse uses within a garage, and what is happening in parking today. And, First Observer will conduct a "Training the Trainer" session, complete with certification to train others.
Our Keynote session features Shawn Conrad and Helen Sullivan representing IPI to introduce "Parking Matters", a nationwide initiative which will take the parking profession to the next level. IPI continues to raise the bar in the parking world and this is just one of their many new programs. Shawn will share news from IPI and 'the exciting world of parking'.
Our Grand Finale event will be held at the Daytona Lagoon with go-carts and race track, waterpark, arcade games and more. I have heard rumors that teams are forming for the 'go-cart' races! And the winner takes all! Who needs the Daytona race track; do we have a Dale Jr. in the crowd??? Photo's will be available after the conference.
We are looking forward to a very successful event with our registrations already above projections! Join us for our exciting 31st Annual Conference "Back to Basics". Visit www.flparking.org for more information.
