California Public Parking Association
CPPA retains a lobbyist to monitor measures at the legislature that may affect public parking agencies throughout the state. Currently the CPPA lobbyist is monitoring over 20 legislative bills on behalf of the association. These bills range from issues of:
1. Confidential home addresses,
2. Off-street parking for electric vehicles
3. Vehicle rental contracts to titling and registration requirements.
CPPA is one of the only statewide associations that employees a lobbyist to monitor upcoming legislation. As a CPPA member, it is a great asset to have organizational representation at such a high level in the state government and have our 'voices heard' as a state association. CPPA asks our membership for input on upcoming, tentative, and suggested legislation.
