To recognize the contributions of individuals to our industry, each year the IPI Professional Recognition Program honors those that exemplify professionalism. You have the opportunity to ensure deserving colleagues and organizations are recognized by nominating them for an IPI Professional Recognition award today. You can also nominate yourself but all nominees must be an IPI member in good standing. There is no fee.

Nominations for the 2013 Professional Recognition Program awards are now open. The deadline for the competition is Friday, February 1, 2013.

The Professional Recognition Program competition consists of four categories:

  • James M. Hunnicutt Parking Professional of the Year* (for management-level professionals who direct an entire parking/transportation operation, or manage multiple units within a department.)
  • Parking Organization of the Year (for public or private parking organizations, departments, consultants, suppliers, commercial operators, etc.)
  • Parking Supervisor of the Year (for those who supervise one or more employees within a parking/transportation department or unit.)
  • Parking Staff Member of the Year (for front-line staff)

Nominations are accepted on an annual basis and reviewed by a select committee of regular members. The Professional Recognition Committee selects recipients to be honored at the IPI Conference & Expo. Winners will be notified via letter in February 2013 and presented with their award at the 2013 IPI Conference & Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Download the 2013 PRP Entry Packet.
