Each year IPI recognizes and commends trends in parking facility
design which are aesthetically pleasing as well as functional,
green and sustainable. We also recognize innovation in parking
programs and operations. This year's 30th annual IPI
Awards of Excellence open competition is for public agencies,
jurisdictions, institutions, organizations and corporations which
own parking facilities completed or renovated since January 1,
2009, or which conduct parking programs/operations initiated since
that date.
Awards of Excellence plaques and Awards of Merit certificates are
given to submitted projects/operations determined by the IPI Awards
of Excellence Committee to be deserving of recognition in each
category.
Awards may be made in seven categories:
I. Best
design of a parking facility with fewer than 800 spaces;
II. Best design of
a parking facility with 800 or more spaces;

parking operation or program and sustainable parking
transportation program or
