This impartial webinar is offered by IPI's Technology Committee and will educate you on how green technologies can be used to improve parking operations from a mobility perspective and from an operating and maintenance perspective. Participants will walk away with a list of simple tasks to do now to improve the "green" of their parking operations as well as a list of longer term considerations that should be investigated.
Instructors' Biographies:
Richard Easley, CAPP, is the President of E-Squared Engineering and is the Chair of the International Parking Institute's Technology Committee and serves on the IPI Advisory Council. Richard has more than 26 years of experience in the transportation industry - the last 18 of which have focused primarily on advanced technology applications for transportation (sometimes referred to as intelligent transportation systems or "ITS"). Richard served on the Coordinating Councils of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and ITS America. In addition, Richard has served as committee or subcommittee Chairman within various associations and has given technology presentations throughout the United States, in Asia and also in Europe.
Mike Drow is a member of the International Parking Institute's Technology Committee and Senior Vice President, Technology Integration at Standard Parking Corporation, one of the largest parking and transportation management companies in North America. In his position, Mike is responsible for leading the identification and implementation of technologies into our various service lines and operating groups. He leads our efforts in electronic marketing and permitting, implementation of central command operating services, and providing consulting services on technology to clients.
