Michael Simmons — Affiliate/Supplier Representative

Mike is the chairman and CEO of T2 Systems, an Indianapolis-based technology and software development company dedicated to the parking industry. He has led the company for the past fifteen years and continues to set T2's corporate strategy and champion its execution. The company's customer base has grown steadily and includes municipalities, universities, hospitals, airports and private companies across the U.S. and Canada.
Mike earned his degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. Prior to T2, his career included marketing, sales and project management positions at IBM, Pepsico and General Motors.
Mike served on the Advisory Council (formerly known as the Board of Advisors) of the International Parking Institute for three years before running for the board of directors. He has served on the board of directors for the past six years during a period of great change for the organization. He has served as a member of the IPI Long Range Planning committee, the Technology committee, the International Outreach committee, and the Membership committee during his tenure on the BOA and BOD.
He is the chairman of the board of Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and is the immediate past chairman of the TechPoint Foundation, both non-profits focused on children's education in the state of Indiana.
