Business Development Manager, Parkeon

Mr. Kupferman spent 16 years as an off-street parking operator, and was one of the first parking operators in New England to implement automated parking in mixed-use facilities: first with pay-on-foot, and then with pay-in-lane. In 2008 Kupferman became interested in on-street technology, and accepted a position as Business Development Manager with Parkeon, a world leading provider of multi-space pay stations, parking, and transportation solutions. Kupferman believes in technology, and is passionate about parking, making him an ideal candidate for the Supplier seat on the IPI Board of Directors. He currently sits on IPI's Advisory Council, co-chairs the State and Regional Associations Committee, and is completing his fourth year as President of the New England Parking Council, which has grown substantially under his direction. Kupferman has been published in both The Parking Professional and Parking Today, and recently presented an educational seminar about on-street technology for the New England Institute of Transportation Engineers. He obtained his Certified Administrator of Public Parking designation in 2009.
