AIRPORT PARKING & GROUND TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS:
This seminar is designed specifically for airport parking professionals, ground transportation coordinators, administrators, commercial operators, engineers, consultants, security professionals, and others affiliated with both public and private parking.

 

The instructors are experts in the field and have worked extensively in these areas.  Information vital to your day-to-day operations will be provided in addition to information regarding future trends in the industry.  Shoptalk sessions will be available.

 

TRANSPORTATION & PARKING ISSUES, a CAPP SEMINAR:
This seminar is designed specifically for municipal, university and airport parking professionals, engineers, consultants, transportation planners, and other affiliated with parking or transportation, both public and private sector.  It is specifically designed to meet the additional challenges placed upon the candidates in the Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) program.  CAPP candidates may earn 7.5 points for attending this seminar.  Parking professionals who are not CAPP candidates are encouraged to attend and benefit from this seminar format.

 

Registration includes two days of intensive technical and discussion sessions, all seminar materials, continental breakfasts, a luncheon, an evening reception and the exposition.  Delegates at this seminar may earn one point toward their CERTIFIED ADMINISTRATOR OF PUBLIC PARKING (CAPP) application.

 

Registration Fees

 

Fees increase after January 9, 2004 

 

Registration should be made in advance and payment should accompany the registration form.  If the seminar is canceled for any reason, fees will be refunded.  If unable to attend, registrant must notify IPI at least ten days prior to the seminar to receive a refund.

More and more airports are installing AVI technology.  Learn what’s new, who is installing what technology and where it’s headed.  There will also be an update from the smart card/ EPS committee.

Shuttle Diplomacy: Providing Great Service at the Lowest Cost to Your Remote Patrons
With the nation's airlines filling seats like never before, airport parking is bursting at the seams.  Remote shuttle parking is a quick, but not always easy, answer to the space demand crunch.  This session will explore the pros and cons of implementing a shuttle service and service standards and benchmarks to consider when measuring the effectiveness of performance.  Industry statistics, suggested fee ratios, and general expense considerations gathered from a number of public and private airport parking shuttle services will be offered.
