Re: 2008 International Parking Awards for Excellence Entry Packet
Enclosed is the 2008 International Parking Awards for Excellence entry packet you requested. In it you will find two (2) smaller packets of material you will want to review carefully. The first is the Official Entry Form. Attached is a Contact Information sheet as well as an Entry Checklist form. There is also a listing and explanation of the judging criteria for the competition. All six (6) copies of your submission must be received by December 3, 2007 to be eligible. These MUST be BLIND COPIES with no reference to corporate names, consultants, engineers, architects or vendors by name and minimal reference to owning agency.
If you are judged an Award of Excellence, Award of Merit or Honorable Mention winner, you will be notified in March 2008. You will be asked to provide a three-to-five minute video of your facility or program in Mini DV format. Absolutely no VHS, SVHS or Beta SP tapes will be accepted. You will also be asked to provide by email a brief highlight narrative based on the video footage, no more than 400 words in length.
Please note that this presentation does not have to be prepared by a professional video production company; we will accept "homemade" videos as well. Excerpts of the video will be shown at the Awards of Excellence ceremony to be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, during IPI's International Parking Conference and Exposition, June 1-4, 2007, in Dallas, Texas.
