Elvan Bagci, Julio Calvo and Melanie Schroeder.

European online parking reservation leader, ParkCloud, has welcomed three new members to its head office team following a successful period of growth.

Elvan Bagci, Melanie Schroeder and Julio Calvo join the parking reservation provider’s award-winning team as Marketing Analyst, Account Manager – German & Polish and Account Manager – Spanish respectively, to develop client relationships and work collectively to support the company’s future growth strategy.

Bringing more than 15 years’ experience from her previous role at Information Tools, Elvan Bagci is a data specialist who’s worked with a number of high-profile clients over her career, including Microsoft, to spearhead successful marketing campaigns through analysing and manipulating numbers, trends and complex data.

Having touched upon all areas of data evaluation, Elvan will apply her analytical focus to understand how ParkCloud’s near 3 million customers move through its websites – from the first entry point, through to the commercial trigger of a purchase.

Fluent in both German and Polish, Melanie Schroeder joins the ParkCloud team from a previous sales role and will be responsible for the company’s current portfolio of German and Polish clients, managing relationships and identifying future growth opportunities in her respective market.

The final new recruit, Julio Calvo, is no stranger to parking, having spent 11 years in the industry prior to his move to the UK. Similar to Melanie, Julio will take responsibility of the company’s extensive portfolio of Spanish clients, driving engagement and encouraging revenue growth through focused service delivery.

Mark Pegler, Managing Director at ParkCloud, said: “As a dynamic, fast-paced technology business, it’s imperative that we’re continuously investing in the infrastructure of our team, bolstering the breadth of experience and skills in order to respond to an ever-changing market.

“Elvan, Melanie and Julio were all stand-out candidates with strong collective experience and we’re positive that they’ll integrate well within our team as we look to push forward with our growth strategy in 2018.”

About ParkCloud

ParkCloud, simply put, lets drivers book a parking space in advance, in the same way as it’s possible to do with hotel rooms, restaurant tables…and even a coffee these days.

When travelling, parking is usually the last thing on anybody’s mind, but research shows that as much as 20 minutes is wasted when searching for a parking space. ParkCloud aims to solve that problem by letting customers make a parking booking, whether they are getting on a plane, taking a cruise, catching a train, or visiting a city or event.

ParkCloud was founded in 2008 as an online parking reservation service and within the nine years we’ve been operating our success and growth has been rapid; we’ve gone from our three founders to employ over 20 members of staff; from one country to over 40; and from two languages to over 20 – and we don’t plan on slowing down.

Today we are an award-winning, global provider, working with car park operators across 40 countries to include them on our comparison search engine, which aims to give consumers the most user friendly, efficient service possible when they need it most.

This bookable parking network is also made available to travel industry partners to help complete the itineraries of passengers worldwide.
