Daniel Lassiter, CAPP, wasn’t thinking about work when he set out to teach his daughter how to fly fish, but it soon became apparent that the lessons of the river applied to parking as well: build trust, develop standards, organize, make decisions, delegate, take action, coach, and align performance for success. The more time he spent trying to help his little girl bring fish to hand, the more clarity he found on his role as a parking industry manager.

Read Daniel’s eloquent story (and enjoy some gorgeous photography) in the January issue of The Parking Professional. You might come off the river with some lessons of your own.
