International Parking Institute Accepting Nominations for 2014 Professional Recognition Awards

Awards recognize industry’s best in four categories; Deadline is March 12
(ALEXANDRIA, VA – February 18, 2014) Nominations are being accepted for the International Parking Institute (IPI)’s annual Professional Recognition Awards, honoring the parking and transportation industry’s outstanding contributors. Nominations are accepted by peers, or self-nominations in four categories.
• James M. Hunnicutt, CAPP, Parking Professional of the Year — for management-level professionals who direct an entire parking/transportation operation, or manage multiple units within a department)
• Parking Organization of the Year — for public or private parking organizations, departments, consultants, suppliers, commercial operators, etc.
• Parking Supervisor of the Year — for those who supervise one or more employees within a parking/transportation department or unit
• Parking Staff Member of the Year — for front-line staff

Nominations will be reviewed by IPI’s Professional Recognition Committee, a select committee of industry peers appointed by IPI’s Board of Directors. Entries must be submitted by March 12, 2014. Awardees will be honored at the 2014 IPI Conference & Expo in Dallas, Tex., June 1-4 and featured in the July 2014 issue of The Parking Professional.
